This is the first stage of setting up a meeting.
Happens before you send out any invitation.

Do you have a Plan for the meeting? Get clear on:
·    The purpose of the meeting
·    The objective of hosting this meeting
·    What actions you want the attendees to take

If your purpose, objective and desired actions aren’t clear, don’t have the meeting.
Is having everyone in the same place at the same time beneficial to reaching your objective? If not, don’t have a meeting.
Is there another way to reach this objective without a meeting that would take less time from people? Then do that.
