Scenario: You are tossing and turning. Your whole body aches. You’re not asleep but you’re not awake. You’re fighting a stomach bug. It has to be around 2am.
Default Option: You visualize Osmosis Jones going into battle to beat the bug. You focus on breathing and take small sips of water. Ok check.
A HMMM Option: Now your mind shifts to start planning rest into your day for the remainder of the work week. You think through which meetings you can let go of vs which ones have a clear purpose that are tied to important projects aligned with your role. Some of those you might be able to reschedule but some you might muscle through. Then it hits you, how much of you day is dictated by meetings and you get a desire to have more fun during your work day.
